Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By using this CouplePOP demo you agree these Terms describe the demo as it works today. If you do not agree, stop using the demo and clear this site’s data in your browser.

2. What CouplePOP is (and is not)

CouplePOP is a Two-Door demo for couples. It is an on-device / this-browser sample.

• Door 1 · 18+. Friendship, crews, and a city-level nearby sample. Both partners self-attest 18+ at /age. Self-report only — not government ID.
• Door 2 · 21+. Adult consent, boundaries, and a vault sample. Both partners self-attest 21+ at /age-21. Self-report only — not KYC / DMV. PopScore is not therapy and not a diagnosis. Door 2 is not for anyone under 21.

• Not a live multi-couple network.
• Not therapy or crisis counseling.
• Not App Store sell-ready, and not a live TestFlight claim in this UI.
• Not a paid StoreKit product in this demo.

3. Eligibility

• Door 1: you and your partner must each be able to honestly self-attest 18+.
• Door 2: both partners must each honestly self-attest 21+.
• CouplePOP is not for children.

If you cannot meet those self-attests, do not use that door.

4. Your responsibilities

• Use the demo lawfully and only with a consenting partner where Door 2 content applies.
• Do not attempt to bypass age gates, honesty labels, or Cap/iOS purchase-rail hides.
• Do not upload content you do not have rights to use.
• Treat demo contacts, invite links, and waitlist saves as on this device unless a later build says otherwise.

5. Demo data and accounts

The server holds sign-in details, yes/no age and consent check marks, the couple quiz room, and credits and invites. When both partners opt in, it also holds the couple link, shared interests, and Door 1 status. Your POPFile card (names, ages, place, styles, interests) is saved privately to your account in Door 1 and Door 2 — never shared with your partner unless you both opt in. Door 2 answers and after-dark content stay on the device. Unlink deletes that link, those interests, and that Door 1 status. POPFile photos, waves, crews, map samples, messages, and the Vault stay on this device. The Vault is not encrypted yet.

• Testers see Reset my data on POPFile; it clears everything stored on this device. Your saved POPFile card stays in your account.
• Delete account on POPFile removes the sign-in, your saved POPFile, and synced couple data. Reports filed against the account are kept for safety, with the id removed. Write hello@couplepop.app if that control is unavailable. support@couplepop.com is a backup mailbox.
• The site host (for example Vercel) may see ordinary web logs (IP, browser, path). Those logs are not a couples social graph.

6. Payments and POPCredits

Any POPCredit prices or PayPal / Cash App / similar buttons on desktop are demo labels. Nothing charges a card. Cap and iOS builds hide those external purchase rails. There is no StoreKit purchase in this demo. Earn and tracker features stay demo honesty-labeled.

8. Intellectual property / sample media

CouplePOP marks, sample UI, and demo content are provided for evaluating this demo. Do not scrape, resell, or present sample couples or map density as a live network.

9. Disclaimers

The demo is provided as-is for evaluation. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, partner-phone sync, live matching, identity verification, or clinical accuracy. PopScore and boundary tools are demo alignment aids, not professional advice.

10. Limitation (demo)

To the fullest extent allowed by law, operators are not liable for demo data loss on your device, misunderstanding of demo labels, or decisions you make based on demo scores or sample content. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits — those limits apply only where permitted.

11. Changes

When accounts, live sync, StoreKit, or a public App Store listing ship, these Terms will be replaced with a live counsel-reviewed version. Until then this page stays a demo notice. App Store submission remains on hold.
