This page describes CouplePOP as it works today. It is not legal advice. Counsel review is pending.
What this demo is
CouplePOP asks you to sign in and confirm 18+ before PopFile opens. Door 2 asks you to confirm 21+ and finish the consent wizard before those pages open. There is no live couples network and no chat that leaves this device. App Store submission is on hold.
Who operates it
See Support for what help exists today.
The two doors
- Door 1 · 18+. A friendship, crews, and nearby sample. Both partners self-attest 18+ at /age. That check is a self-report on this device, not a government ID.
- Door 2 · 21+. Adult consent, boundaries, and a vault sample. Both partners self-attest 21+ at /age-21. The dual attest is a self-report, not a government ID. Door 2 does not collect a photo of an ID. PopScore is not therapy and not a diagnosis. Door 2 is not for anyone under 21.
What stays on the phone
PopFile names, ages, and city, Love Notes, demo messages, crews, map pins, contacts, Consent Wizard colors, PopScore, the Vault, and Door 2 / after-dark content stay on this device. They do not go to the server. Status posts stay on the phone too, unless both partners turn sync on. Then only Door 1 status posts sync. After-dark status never syncs. If you clear the browser or a tester taps Reset my data, the on-device copy is gone. We cannot get it back.
What the server holds
- Sign-in: email, name, and a scrambled password. Sign-in records can include browser type and IP address.
- Door check marks: a yes/no that you said you are 18+ or 21+, and a yes/no that the Consent Wizard is finished. Not the answers.
- The couple quiz room: each partner’s answers, revealed to both only after both finish.
- Your POPFile card (names, ages, city/state/ZIP, styles, interests), in Door 1 and Door 2: saved privately to your account so it survives sign-out — never shared with your partner unless you both opt in. Photos stay on the device.
- Partner sync, only when both opt in: the couple link, shared interests, and Door 1 status posts.
- POPCredits and which invites turned into sign-ups.
- A report of a synced partner or their Door 1 status: the reason, your note, the account ids, and a snapshot of synced rows we already hold. A Door 2 consent report stores only what you type and those ids — not boundaries, and not after-dark posts.
Unlink deletes the couple link, shared interests, and Door 1 status from the server. Everything not named here stays on the device. The Vault is stored on-device and is not encrypted yet. CouplePOP never asks for ID photos. We do not sell this data and we do not share it with advertisers. There is no live couples network. Sample couples are demo only.
Staff open a user’s server data only to fix a problem that user reported, for a safety issue, or for a legal request, and only with the founder’s approval. Every access is logged. No browsing.
The site host (Vercel) may see ordinary web logs — IP address, browser, and the page path — the way any website host does. Those logs are not a couples profile and not a live social graph.
Visits
We count visits anonymously — no cookies, no personal data.
Where sign-ups come from
When someone signs up or sends a Join application, we record which ad or site referred them: the campaign tags in the link (like utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign) and the referring site's name only. We don't record the full web address, your IP address or anything else about you for this, and until then it stays in this browser's own storage (not a cookie).
Meta Pixel (ad measurement)
When it is switched on, couplepop.app uses the Meta Pixel so we can tell whether our ads lead to Join applications and sign-ups. It sets Meta cookies in your browser and sends Meta page views and two conversion events — a Join application sent and an account created. We send no name, email, phone, or other personal details with them (no advanced matching), and the Pixel never runs on Door 2, the Vault, the consent wizard, or the 21+ check. Meta may also receive what any website request carries, like your IP address and browser. You can opt out of ads based on this activity in your Meta ad settings, through the DAA opt-out or Your Online Choices, or by blocking third-party cookies in your browser.
Location
The Door 1 map is city-level. Pins are approximate on purpose. The demo does not ask for or show a home address. A live location network that shares where you are with other people is not part of this demo. On-device location, audience, and alert switches live on Privacy settings.
Children
CouplePOP is not for children. Door 1 is gated at 18+. Door 2 is gated at 21+. If Door 2 later ships in the same App Store app, the expected public store rating is 17+ (the highest rating Apple publishes). App Store submission is on hold, so that rating is not filed. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Choices today
- Clear this site’s data in your browser.
- Testers (beta, ambassador, admin) see Reset my data on POPFile. It clears everything stored on this device. Your saved POPFile card stays in your account.
- On POPFile, Delete account removes the sign-in, your saved POPFile, the couple link, shared interests, Door 1 status, and reports you filed, unless a safety or legal hold applies. Reports filed against you are kept, with the account id removed. Write hello@couplepop.app if that control is unavailable. support@couplepop.com is a backup mailbox.
Not therapy
CouplePOP is a social app for couples. It is not therapy, not counseling, and not a diagnosis. PopScore and quizzes are for fun and talking. They are not medical or mental-health advice.
Door 2 is consent-first
Door 2 is 21+. Both partners say they are 21+. That is a self-check, not a government ID check. CouplePOP never asks for ID photos. The Consent Wizard comes first. Red means a hard stop. The wizard is a conversation starter, not a test. You can stop at any time. Door 2 answers, boundaries, and after-dark content stay on the phone. Your POPFile card is saved privately to your account — never shared with your partner unless you both opt in.
Who runs CouplePOP
Operator: A-Z CREATIONS + CONSULTING LLC. Contact: hello@couplepop.app. Backup: support@couplepop.com.
Not live yet
Sign in with Apple, push notifications, StoreKit, and paid unlocks are not in this demo. A desktop browser may show a demo-labeled POPCredit checkout that does not charge a card. Cap and iOS hide those purchase rails. Nothing is a live payment.
Delete account is on POPFile for the sign-in, your saved POPFile, and the synced couple data. When the rest of this ships, this page will be replaced with a live policy and App Store nutrition labels will be filed. Nutrition labels are not published. Counsel has not signed this page.
Publish checklist (unfinished)
- Legal entity name — A-Z CREATIONS + CONSULTING LLC
- Counsel review — pending
- Support mailbox — hello@couplepop.app (backup support@couplepop.com)
- Nutrition labels — later, with a live policy
- App Store listing — submission is on hold
This page stays a demo notice until those are done.
